1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Maps of You, operated by Maps of You(“we”, “us”). By creating an account or placing an order you accept them.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, and you may close it at any time from account settings.
3. Your content and location data
You retain all rights to the travel data you upload and the designs you create. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the service — reconstructing routes, rendering previews and producing your prints. We claim no other rights over it, and our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
You must only upload data you are entitled to use. Do not upload another person's location history without their permission.
4. Orders and payment
Prices, including paper, frame, shipping and applicable taxes, are shown in full before you confirm an order. Payment is processed by Stripe; an order is accepted when payment is confirmed. All amounts are charged in the currency displayed at checkout.
5. Production and shipping
Posters are printed to order and shipped to the address you give at checkout. Estimated production and delivery times are shown at checkout and in order emails; they are estimates, not guarantees.
6. Returns and reprints
Every product is made to order from a design you create and approve before you pay. For that reason we do not accept returns or give refunds for a change of mind — including a different size, frame, colour or design. As personalised goods, orders are not covered by the statutory right to cancel.
We will reprint or replace your order free of charge, or refund it, only if it arrives damaged, or if what you receive does not match the design you approved — for example a printing defect or the wrong size or frame. To claim, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the problem. This does not affect your other statutory rights.
7. Intellectual property
The service, its software, styles and brand are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. The maps are drawn from Esri, Impact Observatory and Microsoft Sentinel-2 land cover (CC BY 4.0), Terrarium elevation tiles (AWS Open Data), Natural Earth boundaries (public domain), NASA GIBS imagery and HydroSHEDS hydrography. Your posters carry the attribution each of those requires.
8. Acceptable use
Do not abuse, probe or disrupt the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use it to produce unlawful content.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time; deletion is permanent.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
